The 2024 Paris Olympics will be the first time in the history of the Summer Olympics that the opening ceremony will be held outside the stadium.
Instead of the traditional athlete entry ceremony along the track, the athletes will meet the audience along the glittering river that runs through the center of Paris.
With the Seine, the river of life in Paris, as the stage, the athletes slowly parade, the docks on both sides are the audience seats, and the ancient city texture and landmark buildings complement each other, and in the golden glow of the sunset, together draw a magnificent picture.
This outdoor concept also makes the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony the largest in terms of audience size and geographical coverage.
